I have played NEARLY every single version of this franchise.  So with Battlefield 3 coming out, I wanted to share my thoughts on previous releases and finish with my impressions on BF3.  Hit the read more link to continue on.

I'm a recent convert to the wonders of Redbox.  For a long time, I thought it was a pointless waste with idiotically long lines and limited selection.  I have Netflix, I have U-verse, why in the hell would I want to stand out in front of a McDonald's for 15 minutes to rent a direct-to-video turd?

Well, I was wrong.  Now, Redbox has exploded to the point I think there are 20 different kiosks within a 2 mile radius of my home. While I sit on my Netflix discs for 2 months at a time, Redbox has more current releases of things not on streaming.  My premium channels are content playing the same 3 garbage movies on repeat every weekend.  Redbox is a perfect compliment to always having something good to watch.

In my rapidly advancing age, my goals of Friday nights have changed.  To me, the perfect Friday evening is being home with some take-out food (or a Lazy Man Meal), my wife and a movie.  It's cheap, it's relaxing, and it's the absolute best way to forget about how horrible the last five days probably have been.  Redbox is a welcome addition to a perfect Friday.

As I've gotten older, I've started to realize how important it is to be able to appreciate cooking, and actually cook more than ramen noodles.  Cooking is one of the easiest ways to showcase your creativity, and really impress family members or potential dates.  "Wow, you can cook?  Amazing.  Let's get naked."  

It's a skill I'm going to have to develop to be a good dad.  It's good stress relief, and it's fun.  I'm still in the baby stages of learning how, hence Lazy Man Meals.  We can't all jump right into the kitchen and cook the dishes we see Bobby Flay or Gordon Ramsey pop out with minimal effort.  My wife and I are starting modestly, learning how to do things the right way, make them taste good, and have fun with it.  All for a cheap price and not a lot of time spent.  Read more to see how our shrimp alfredo turned out.
